Gerome’s Reason Why Not

I don’t want children because everyone I know that has a child is less happy than I am. That has to mean something, right? And the truth is, I’m not even all that happy to begin with!
It seems to me that when you have a child you give up your happiness to make the child happy. But wait- does anyone know a teenager who is actually happy?
So tell me, why in the world does anyone even have kids? Because I sure as fuck can’t figure it out.
